Software Types

Here at Frology!, we have developed a unique way to differentiate the licenses upon which the various software that we review are based on. The following table explains the license type and the color-codes which we use to depict them.

	Open-Source Software Software that you can use/modify/customize/distribute free of cost.
	Freeware Software which are usually closed-source but free for use.
	Shareware These software are demos/trials that are available for use with limited functionality.
	Payware Software which is available for use for a fee.
	Uncategorized These are software that are not yet categorized by us.

Our categorization is for illustration only. You must read the terms and conditions that are bundled with the software to clearly understand the license of the software.
